Half Day Seminar on “Productivity Improvement Through Kaizen & 5S Process”
on Saturday the 25th February, 2017

The Mechanical Division of The Institution of Engineers Pakistan, Karachi Centre had arranged a Half Day Seminar on ”Productivity Improvement Through Kaizen & 5S Process on Saturday the 25th February, 2017 from 03:30 pm to 6:00 pm in IEP Convention Center.

The Seminar was conducted by Engr. Syed Arshad Ali, who is basically an Automobile Engineer has undergone various Business Management Courses and has had several advanced Trainings on Maintenance and Quality Management from Japan. He has over 38 years experience in the field of Maintenance and Quality Management and has played a key role in establishing the modern Quality Management Systems at Hinopak which is the first automotive industry in Pakistan to receive ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certifications.

He is also an qualified Auditor / Lead Assessor from BSI (British Standard Institute) and visiting faculty member of CQP program at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi.

The seminar started from recitation of Holy Quran and followed by National Anthem and conducted by Engr. Yousuf Jilani,MIE(Pak), Vice-Chairman (Mechanical), IEP Karachi Centre.

Engr. Prof. Dr. S.F.A. Rafeeqi, Chairman, IEP Karachi Centre presented his concluding remarks and appreciated the presentation by Engr. Syed Arshad Ali. Engr. Ayaz Mirza, Secretary, IEP Karachi Centre presented the vote of thanks to the Authors and the Audience.

Engr. Prof. Dr. S.F.A. Rafeeqi, Chairman, IEP Karachi Centre, accompanied with Engr. Ayaz Mirza, Secretary, IEP Karachi Centre, presented the seminar shield and certificate to the Author.
